Summit Ridge Dental is a family and cosmetic dental practice with three locations across the Phoenix metro area — in Scottsdale, Tempe, and Gilbert. Since 2014, we've helped thousands of patients achieve healthier smiles through modern, compassionate care.
Our Story
Summit Ridge Dental was founded in 2014 by Dr. Sarah Chen, who saw a gap in the East Valley: patients deserved a dental practice that combined advanced clinical skill with genuine warmth — without the sterile, assembly-line feel of corporate dentistry.
Dr. Chen opened the first Summit Ridge office in Scottsdale with a small team and a clear vision: treat every patient like a neighbor, invest in the best technology, and never cut corners on quality. Word spread quickly. Within three years, the practice had outgrown its original space and expanded to a second office in Tempe, followed by a third in Gilbert in 2019.
Today, Summit Ridge Dental is home to three experienced dentists — Dr. Chen, Dr. James Patel, and Dr. Maria Vasquez — along with a team of dedicated hygienists, assistants, and office staff who share the same patient-first philosophy that has defined the practice from day one.
