Smile Makeover — Transform Your Smile in Scottsdale
A coordinated plan combining multiple cosmetic treatments to give you the smile you have always wanted — designed by specialists, built around your goals.
When your smile has multiple issues — staining and chips and gaps and wear — fixing one problem at a time can feel overwhelming and disconnected. A smile makeover takes a different approach. Instead of treating each issue in isolation, your cosmetic team designs a comprehensive plan where every treatment works together toward a single, unified result.
A smile makeover at Summit Ridge Dental might include porcelain veneers to reshape and brighten your front teeth, professional whitening to match the surrounding teeth, bonding to fill small imperfections, Invisalign to correct alignment before cosmetic work, or even implants to replace missing teeth. The specific combination depends entirely on your goals, your timeline, and your budget.
The key difference between a smile makeover and individual cosmetic treatments is the planning. Dr. Sarah Chen and Dr. Maria Vasquez coordinate every element — shade, shape, proportion, alignment — so the final result looks cohesive and natural, as if you were simply born with a great smile.
What Can a Smile Makeover Include?
Every makeover is different. Here are the treatments we most commonly combine.
Porcelain Veneers
Reshape, resize, and brighten your front teeth for a uniform, natural-looking smile line.
Teeth Whitening
Match the shade of surrounding teeth to your veneers, or brighten your entire smile before bonding.
Dental Bonding
Fill chips, close small gaps, and reshape tooth edges with tooth-colored composite.
Invisalign
Straighten teeth before cosmetic work for a better foundation and more conservative treatment.
Crowns
Restore severely damaged or weakened teeth as part of the overall smile design.
Dental Implants
Replace missing teeth permanently so your smile makeover includes every tooth.
How Much Does a Smile Makeover Cost in Scottsdale?
Smile makeover costs depend on the treatments included. Minor makeovers (whitening + bonding) start around $2,000 to $5,000. Comprehensive makeovers with veneers, crowns, and implants range from $15,000 to $50,000 or more.
Because every smile makeover is custom, there is no single price tag. During your consultation, Dr. Chen or Dr. Vasquez will examine your teeth, discuss your goals, and design a treatment plan with a detailed cost breakdown. We present options at different investment levels so you can choose the scope that fits your budget.
CareCredit and Lending Club financing allow you to spread the cost into monthly payments. Our Summit Savings Plan provides 15% off all treatments for uninsured patients. Insurance may cover portions of restorative components like crowns or implants.
What Is the Smile Makeover Process?
A smile makeover at Summit Ridge Dental begins with a comprehensive consultation, moves through digital smile design and treatment planning, and is executed in a carefully sequenced series of appointments tailored to your specific treatment plan.
Step 1: Comprehensive Smile Consultation
Your makeover begins with an in-depth consultation where Dr. Chen or Dr. Vasquez examines your teeth, gums, and bite. We take digital photos, iTero scans, and (if needed) 3D CT images. Most importantly, we listen — what do you want your smile to look like? What bothers you most? What is your timeline? What is your budget?
Step 2: Digital Smile Design
Using your scans and photos, we create a digital preview of your projected result. You see your new smile on screen before any work begins. For veneer cases, we may also create a physical wax-up or temporary mock-up that you can try on in the mirror — and even take home for a day to see how it looks in real life.
Step 3: Treatment Sequencing
Your doctor maps out the optimal order of treatments. For example, if Invisalign is part of the plan, alignment comes first. If gum recontouring is needed, it precedes veneers. If implants are involved, they are placed early to heal while other work progresses. This sequencing ensures every element builds on the last for the best possible result.
Step 4: Treatment Execution
Treatments are completed over a series of appointments — the number depends on the scope of your makeover. A veneers-only makeover may require just two to three visits. A comprehensive plan involving implants, alignment, and veneers may span several months. We maintain communication throughout so you always know what comes next.
Step 5: Final Review and Maintenance
Once all treatments are complete, we do a final review of your smile — fit, color, function, and your satisfaction. We establish a maintenance plan to keep your results looking great for years, including recommended cleaning intervals, night guard use, and any touch-up schedules.

Invisalign + Bonding"I came to Dr. Chen with a laundry list of issues — staining, a chipped front tooth, a gap, and an old crown that did not match anymore. She designed a smile makeover that combined four veneers, bonding on two teeth, whitening, and a new crown. The result is incredible — everything matches, everything looks natural, and I cannot stop smiling."

Yes. We use digital smile design and physical wax-ups to preview your result before treatment begins. You approve the design before any irreversible work is done.
Not necessarily. Many makeovers address both cosmetic and functional issues — for example, straightening teeth improves your bite and your appearance, while replacing a missing tooth with an implant restores chewing function and aesthetics simultaneously.
